The Gulf of Aqaba
Freediving in Aqaba and the Red Sea
The northern Red Sea combines year-round water, excellent visibility, accessible shore entries, coral gardens and memorable wreck sites.
Why freedive in Aqaba?
Aqaba offers unusually accessible Red Sea freediving. Many sites are reached from shore, conditions are often calm and visibility commonly reaches 10–30 metres.
Coral reefs, warm water and wrecks such as Cedar Pride, the C-130 aircraft and the Underwater Military Museum create varied sessions for training and exploration. Site choice always follows weather, ability, certification and safety.
